So. I am doing things as if I finished my last paper, when the truth is I have not touched my Biology book yet.

To tell you the truth, Blogger hasn't been resonating the same appeal it did to me in the first place. Maybe because I have grown very attached to my livejournal, which I've been using it for a very long time. Maybe because I lack the blogging-stint, and does not really care whether people actually read this or not. Or maybe that notion was the one that destroyed it: the conscience of knowing whether I have your attention or not. Whatever it is, Blogger is still the best way to generate fun pink layouts followed by the tired groanings of my readers. Sorry dudes, only the colour pink is allowed.

But since most of my schoolmates will be using Blogger, so I'll sacrifice my time. FEEL LUCKY PEOPLE.

Here's an SPM report for you. Most of the papers went well: I did most of them in a breeze. Except for History paper 2 and Chemistry paper 2. History was terrible, and regret not bothering about the Form 5 syllabus (the Malaysian history, aka the boring one). Chemistry however... is just plain Chemistry, except with a question about ginger. I thought we're supposed to be looking at atoms and chemicals, not a bloody ginger?! Thank god Paper 3 was a life saver. I still can't see the A1, though.

But here's to Biology, my favourite science subject! Followed by FREEDOM! Whoopee!

Something interesting happened to me this morning.
Some time after 5 a.m.: Azim woke me up for the morning prayer.

me: Rahsia. (Secret.)
Azim: Heh?
me: Rahsia. (Secret.)
Azim: What?
me: Rahsia yang Kak Riati* bagitahu masa sahur** tuh. (The secret that Kak Riati told us during sahur.)
Azim: Afi, are you still dreaming?
me: Noooo! It's true!

-Washes face in the order of the Wudhu ritual, looks up to the mirror. Blink blink blink------

me: What did I say just now?

ANIME PLUG TIME! I watched all The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi episodes and ah, the good times. This is so different than my usual taste in anime, right down to the character designs (as much as I am an avid fan of anime & manga, I tend to avoid Shoujo and lolita-esque fanservice ones), but after seeing the hype everywhere, I decided to give it a go. Since the major theme is having the power to end the world, and I'm up for that (except for Evangelion. I couldn't even finish it. That is one overhyped anime). And I REALLY LOVE IT from the start. The animation is so smooth and brilliant, and the stereotypical characters seemed more alive than how they were depicted in other anime. The sarcastic comments from Kyon is just brilliant ♥! And the episode shuffling gimmick is nicely done, and will leave a better feel on you once you figure everything it out. The first episode might make you go "wtf is this I'm watching?" but seriously it won't waste your time. I hope. But Kyon is love and that's all that matters. Muaha.
And right now I'm listening to the OP non-stop oh dear. D:

OKay exams finished! Well for now. We have another week coming up, and then trials are definitely over.

Now to do my job, I know some of you DUrians want to be writers, and that's why you guys blog in such a serious 'writer-esque' manner (which I tend to do more in my livejournal, ahihihi), so here's your chance to shine!

INKYHANDS.NET is an online literary magazine that showcases Malaysia's fresh young writers! Those who are interested can send in as many entries as they like, and (if we have enough submissions lah) we'll update it monthly! I submitted one for the first issue, but the worst thing was that I didn't really proof read it so there is a strong stench of garbage from mine. I was fifteen, okay, proof-reading was a chore to me :P But yes back to Inkyhands, it's for free, and sorry that you guys won't get paid, but hey, at least your talent is being shown to the world, amirite?

From fiction to fanfiction, everything is applicable! (except poetry). And yes someone even wrote a fanfiction of Narnia, so Yun, you can submit your FF7/FF8 fanfictions as well. Muahaha.

Okay back to reality: Good luck to all PMR students! Don't stress yourself too much, because it's just one short week (or long, whichever you prefer).
